Measuring for French doors is easier than you think when you know how to do it. Frame Style want to make measuring for your door as easy as possible and that is why we have put together a step-by-step guide to help.
What you will need:
Important Information: we need the EXACT measurements of the overall frame before we can manufacture your bespoke uPVC door.
ALL MEASUREMENTS SHOULD BE TAKEN AS VIEWED FROM OUTSIDE
Take measurements of positions A, B and C from brick to brick.
Write down the three measurements.
Using the smallest of the three, deduct 10mm to allow for fitting tolerance and sealing.
You need to take three measurements at points A, B and C from lintel to brick.
Write down the three figures.
Take the smallest figure and deduct 10mm to allow for fitting and sealing.
NB: If your French door opening is larger than 1800mm wide then please call us as you may require a sidelight.
